More sky walks

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on June 21, 2011

I think it would be great if we had a sky walk connecting the casino to fountain square etc
. Sky walks are allover downtown Indy and I think this concept is appreciated by everyone in the winter months.

Historic Cincinnati Pictures in the casino

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on April 23, 2011

I would think it would be very appropriate for the casino to have many historic downtown Cincinnati pictures hanging on all the walls like they have at Music Hall…There are hundreds of very interesting historic pictures of the central business district, OTR, Pendleton, etc…Love the canals…

Teleférico de Gaia

(4/12/11)Interesting video of the gondola in Portugal. Click link to watch video.Teleférico de Gaia

This urban gondola just opened in Portugal. Could be a creative solution for getting to Mt. Adams and Clifton.

Taking a look at what other cities and countries do to get around…Seeking out creative ways for transportation is exactly what Cincinnati needs. We have had several ideas come through Cincinnati. Let’s make one of them a reality whether it be a street car, improved bus system, gondola, train etc..Possibilites are endless!

New Mt. Adams Incline

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on February 24, 2011

Connect the casino to Mt. Adams using using an aerial tramway. This would create an interesting tourist destination and would get casino patrons up to the bars and nightlife in Mt. Adams.

handicapped access

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on December 15, 2010

Watching the news this Sunday morning, one problem popped into my head. If your focus is on the 55 year old woman, please by all efforts provide easy public transportation from the hotels to the casino. Not only wheelchair access but those who may have tentative knees, hips, etc. Walking a long way would inhibit many people.

Parking

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on December 15, 2010

We don’t have enough parking for the people who work at 800 broadway and around there. Please help us out now and in the future. It’s getting worse and worse with the building of the casino.

Street Entertainment

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on November 18, 2010

With such a large footprint, the Broadway Commons area will be more than a Casino. One addition to the culture of the district could be a thriving street entertainment program sponsored by the establishments within the complex. Jugglers, fire breathers, magicians, and the like could aid in the overall culture of the new destination.

Mural on Jail

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on November 18, 2010

I think it would be a great idea to paint a mural on the side of the jail facing the casino site. Something that would improve the view and stop people in their tracks.

Casino Bed and Breakfast

Posted by tdomf_ad343 on November 7, 2010

With the coming casino there will be opportunities for the downtown hotels to improve their existing locations, and the announcement of new “posh” hotel next to the CAC is a welcome addition, but the area directly adjacent to the Casino could develop a new style of lodging focused on enhancing the time you spend in downtown Cincinnati’s new Casino district. A Casino Bed & Breakfast would cater to the needs of guests looking to get the most out of their visit. Breakfast would also include a lesson on craps and casino promotions could be part of the package. Food could be geared to achieve increased “focus” for the gambling a guest plans to tackle later in the day, or “recovery” from a long night.

Casino Added to Street Car Line

Posted by Kareem Simpson on October 20, 2010

The proposed street car route is currently not connected to the casino. Wouldn’t it be great if there was cross-town addition to the street-car route that connects the proposed casino and The Museum Center at Union Terminal?
